I Wish (Dad)

Twenty four hours in a day
365 days in a year
Not a minute goes by
That I don’t wish you were here
There’s just so many things
I wish I could say to you
And i feel deep down
You’ve got stuff to say too
It still doesn’t feel real
And it still don’t feel right
It’s Father’s Day today
So I’ll miss you tonight
Some days I can accept it
Some days I think I understand
But not a day goes by
That I don’t miss my old man
